* The U.S. Visa Application fee is $1,900.00 as of January 1, 2010 which is equivelant to approximately $150.00 +/- $5.00 per person depending on the rate of exchange from Dollars to Pesos. This rate can vary day by day.
** CTS prepays the U.S. visa application fee for each client ahead of time to ensure that everyone arrives on time to the U.S. Consualte interview. This payment is done in person on your behalf at any Banamex Bank in Mexico. Banamex hours of operation are from 9:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. Wait times (lines) at the Banamex Banks can vary but are usually 25 - 45 minutes to complete the payment.
*** Our Consulate Trip consists of transportation from the hotel in Brownsville to the U.S. Consulate in Matamoros and back to the hotel in Brownsville. We will also hold on to any and all prohibited items which are not allowed inside the U.S. Consulate while you have your interview and return it to you when you exit the U.S. Consulate. We will also provide you with shuttle transfers to a nearby hotel and restaurant during your wait in Matamoros while your visa is stamped. Once you obtain your visa, we will provide you with the shuttle transfer to the port-of-entry on the Mexican side where you will walk across the short bridge and straight into the U.S. Immigration office for your new I 94 card. Once you have obtained your new I 94 card, we will then provide you with the shuttle transfer back to the hotel in Brownsville. This whole process can take anywhere between 10 + hours from start to finish. Our consulate trip shuttle service is designed to provide you with everything you will need for your visa stamping process in regards to transportation. The CTS Team consists of 4 drivers to provide you with all your transportation needs and ensure that you will be on time for your interview and to pick up your passport. Stamping is usually done on the same day however an overnight delay can occur resulting in having to stay in Matamoros at a nearby hotel for the night. Please see below.
**** Delays can happen on any given day while stamping in Mexico. We will assist you by transporting you to a hotel nearby the U.S. Consulate, forward your luggage from the U.S. to Matamoros, and provide you with the necessary transportation until you arrive safely back in the U.S. Anyone who does not take advantage of the Delay Assistance Program MAY be financially responsible for any extra transportation or services provided. We will also prepare all the necessary paperwork and apply for a departure permit on your behalf if it is required. You will be financially responsible for paying the $150.00 USD fee for this per person if you do not enter with a Mexican Visa. This is a worst-case-scenario and has happened with less than 1% of our clients. A departure from Mexico to your home country would be required if your US vsia was denied and re-entry into the US is not possible.
